The young half-elf winced slightly, as the wooden stand was easy crushed under the tip of Raida's tail. "Wow..." He murmured, watching the walls of a building crack under the stress put on them by the hands of a demon twenty- thirty feet tall or so. Squinting, he noticed a human girl siting on the demon's shoulder, seemingly calm and relaxed. Was she some kind of demon too? Shaking his head in amazement, he turned his attention back to Raida. He was in a slightly different position now, with his tail up against a tree. Why would he be doing that? Leaning forward slightly, he caught a glimpse of a blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy, up against the tree. That must be Karim! He felt a twinge of empathy. Being a normal human, forced to be Raida's pet, Karim probably didn't want the city destroyed, and he could be held captive for the rest of his life if Raida wasn't killed. What could he do though? Even in a position of power, he couldn't march down there and demand that the Demon Lord let Karim go. Oh well. Eventually he might be able to get Karim out of his odd form of servitude. "How long will it take the guards to get together and try to stop this?" He asked curiously, watching the action with a grim interest.
Lyra took a few steps back from the edge, moving behind Raven-Wing. She was afraid, and yet her feelings were resolute; they would defeat the demons. Then everything would be safe and happy; she could live freely again.
Rinza nodded, and without another word went flying out over the ground, seeming like she was gliding in her speed. She spotted Parandai trying to attack Jack and moved up behind her. She was not so much interested in the panda-like creature as the explosives she was packing. Softly, her speed much decreased, she snuck up behind Parandai, noting the basket of fireworks she carried. Reaching long, dexterous fingers into the basket, she smoothly pulled out a bundle of them; not all that was inside, but an amount that the demon could easily carry, then turned to run away.
Jack scoffed softly, turning his full attention back to Parandai. He attempted to toss the dynamite aside, realizing that it was not licorice, but it had already blown up. The demon however barely felt the small bit of dynamite. Once more Jack picked Parandai up, this time less gently. "Is that all I have to be worried about." He said, glaring at her, and tightening his grip a bit. "Perhaps taking this town will be more easy than I thought." With that, he threw the panda like creature down rather hard, and walked off to continue destroying the city.
"Well you have Ian to worry about!" She screamed. "Ian is a necromancer with hordes of zombies ready to kill anything!" She shouted. Parandai smiled and looked in her pack, "Nice try, Demon but some of those you have are activated with a switch in my palm." Parandai smiled and new this hidden trick was good. Parandai pressed the button and a simple 'boom' could be heard. "Ah whats left are sticky bombs!" Shouted Parandai. Parandai threw them in Jack's direction. For now parandai jumped to her roof top to collect explosives.
Deirei was running as fast as she could not caring what she bumped into or knocked over. She bumped into Karim and kept running not caring if demons saw her. Harasiu saw the demons and learned they were kinda ugly. Deirei panted as she ran and made sure she wouldn't stop till she was save.
Damien on the other hand couldn't move fast. His body was becoming very unstable now and when he was limping his body was glowing with a goldish aura. "Raida help it hurts so bad!" Damien cried out. He was now rasping and panting. His body fell to the ground from the pain and exhaustion of holding on.
As Raven-wing spoke, almost as if on cue, the Royal Guards marched down through the city. Seventeen of them, Opal at their lead. Even if there were so few, they were excellent fighters, all specially and individually trained in their own fighting style. They marched as a unit, in two rows- with the exception of Opal, who stood in front. Fee-teh randomly launched at them, gliding with his large, muscular, cheetah-like body. Instead of knocking one to the ground, and ripping his arm off, he was blasted away by a withdrawn sword- quickly, without any mess, blasting him into the wall. Then, the bizarre occurred. Fee-teh’s body changed slowly, back into a rabbit, back into a glide-rabbit. Tiny, and weak yet again, he scurried off- away from the demons.
And Raida just laughed. I’m not one for healing. he stated, his eyes drifting from place to place. And I have no Idea how you were harmed. I cannot be of help. Ask one who can. Raida was almost telling the truth. His only method of healing was by cursing someone to heal. Karim was under that curse, along with a variety of others.
Karim was knocked out of the way, straight into the tree yet again. He sighed, just for a second, and climbed up it like a monkey or a squirrel. It seemed safe up there, where he was less likely to be pushed around- well, it did anyways, until he noticed how many demons were gathered on top of the tree, waiting for Raida’s orders.

Zer-sre smiled, just for a second, looking onto Raven-wing’s astonishment. ”There they are.” he stated, pointing downward. ”Raida, is the large, black-and-red dragon monster down there." He said, looking onto Karim with curious eyes. ”And that’s the boy who warned us. Seems strange, that Raida hasn’t killed him.”
Rinza was still directly behind Parandai when the bombs were thrown at her (not having been given the chance to run away) so the roof collapsed beneath both of their feet, chunks of wood falling, splintering glass display cases of cakes and breads. The demon collapsed into the pile of smoking rubble. Her smooth, featureless face shifted slightly into what looked to be a smile- she smelled blood. Then the pain came. Wincing slightly, Rinza glanced down at the void where her hand used to be. Still, ahe wasn't going to let that slow her down. The hit hadn't been taken to her core- the rubbery, shock absorbing flesh of her hands had stopped damage to her body, instead directing it to the ground. Small injuries like this tired her to fix, but amends could be made. Temporarily ignoring the throbbing, electric tingle of the lost appendage, Rinza followed the smell of blood to the crushed display case, looking down at the wreckage that Parandai had unintentionally caused. An older woman Rinza guessed had at one time been the shopkeeper was unconscious, ribbons of skin lifted from her body by shrapnel and the razor-edged glass. There was also a little boy, and another woman, younger than the shopkeeper that looked to be his mother, half buried under the wreckage, both dead. Rinza had to brush away the small sections of roof to make sure they were really human. The smell of blood was overpoweringly fresh to her; rusty, salty, and yet delightfully sweet. A fire was climbing one of the remaining three walls, eating hungrily at the wooden planks. And this is why- Rinza thought to herself with a laugh- you never use explosives inside a city: my job is done for me. Aware that the fire would grow beyond control soon, she hurried over the rubble, searching for her missing left hand. Finally she located it under one of the ceiling beams, and with a good deal of effort, she melded it back onto her wrist, and mended he damage. Feeling rather tired, but now uninjured, the half-changeling quickly walked out onto the street, glancing around. Quickly forming a mouth, she grinned toothily at Parandai, tossing a gesture toward the ruined store, the fire now spreading steadily across the rows of stores. This done, she took a quick glance behind her, and noticed the lines of royal guards. Not wanting to take her chances with one of them, she looped around block of buildings, close enough to Raida that she could take some cover, but far enough away that she wouldn't be in the mess of things- she felt drained. She wanted to avoid a fight.
Raven-Wing relaxed slightly, feeling a little more secure now that he could see that help was coming. He turned to Zer-sre with a grim smile that held not a note of cheer. "Karim's name was given rightfully to him. I guess by the Demon Lord himself. He is a pet. Raida won't kill him." He paused a moment, then added almost hopefully, "We're on friendly terms- allies I guess."
Parandai let tears form, as she saw the demon just walk away she had to do something. Parandai did what she knew was best, 'I must walk through the flame.'. Determined she walked through the flames as if it were rain, Her old ace in the hole was good. No amount of fire or bombs could burn her or even hurt her. Parandai went to the shopkeeper and looked at the dead bodies. "I don't know you but it is a pity my attack caused this. May you ascend to a higher form." she shouted without thought. Parandai began to run with anger an tried to put as much of the flames on her as she could. Then she wanted to kill the demon girl. Parandai took the extra bombs she had taken from her roof out of her pockets. Parandai lit them without thought and ran to kill Rinza.
Damien was now shocked, his master had nothing for help and Damien would die. Damien held his hands up and looked at them, now shining like the sun and becoming fainter. "Damn it all." Damien shouted.
Deirei could not feel the pain Damien has but sympasized despite him being a demon. Harasiu used the light orbs to brake the barrel they now hid in. "Cure the pain." said Harasiu. Deirei nodded, another light ball was shot and hit Damien's forehead. Now Harasiu began to make light forms, Dragons, wolves, bulls, sheep, dogs, cats, snakes, and other weird creatures. These forms began to move forward at the demons.
Damien's body was now shining brighter than the sun, a blinding light that shined. Damien was now coughing up chunks of blood. He reached out gasping and crying. His body now turned into a crystal like form and dimned. Now it seemed the body was now a shell.
Jack saw the royal guards coming, but just continued destroying the city. In his mind, he weighed the ups and downs of both forms he would fight in. He had the advantage of size and strength, but was too easily distracted in his current form. In his normal form however, he had great skill with a katana and was stronger than an average human, but he could take much fewer hits. In the end, he decided to fight in his normal form, and his current form if things became too difficult. Jack continued to crush the buildings, smiling at the screams of fear and pain coming from inside. Scarlet had stopped begging him not to hurt anyone else, knowing that he wouldn't listen.
Rinza suppressed a moan as she saw the Panda-girl start after her: the demon had a huge head start and was much faster, but she hadn't really wanted trouble. Still, now that her enemy had a bone to pick with her, Rinza certainly wasn't going to refuse. She reached the spot she had planned to by the side of the building long before Parandai, when she looked back, her foe was just a black and white blip in the chaos- she could hardly identify the face. The strain the healing put on her demon form, the expending of energy fired an almost instinctive warning to change her form to something human. Grabbing at the first face that came to her, Rinza instantly slid into the form- she had seen the half-elf before at the street fight, and she had recently gotten news he was the new ruler. Rinza only realized who she had chosen after the fact. Still, she was pleased. A grubby little street-kid was surely a common enough sight in the city- and even more common where she intended to go. Moving her new mouth into a smug, arrogant smile, Rinza called across the empty ground between them with a voice so full of mock surprise that it was almost sarcastic. “You want to get me? Oh, you want to kill me?” Putting a hand to her hip, she managed to stare down her nose at Parandai, golden eyes indolent, seemingly contented and calm. “Well, you’re going to have to catch me first!” With that, Rinza childishly stuck out her tongue, thumbed her nose in the bomb-expert’s direction, and dashed across the street, sliding with lithe ease into a rain-drain.
"Hey guards the new leader whatshisname is running around. Get him to the palace, it isn't safe!" shouted Parandai. Parandai ran over to the drain and smile. She knew this was an easy challenge.
Annoyed at the Panda-girl's words, but certainly not worried in the least, Rinza focused her attention on her hair color, changing it from pitch black to a vibrant rust color. She had a perfectly good reason to be in the drains as well- she looked like a street kid, and because of the demons, she would of course be taking shelter. Also there was the fact that anyone who glanced up at the palace would see the real Raven-Wing standing at the balcony, obvious enough. Laughing at her opponent from her position in the knee-deep water of the drains Rinza was feeling rather proud of herself: she quickly covered it up with a cough however, just in case a guard was near.
"Wait never mind it is just this weird changing thing! Sorry , wait its demon! will take care of it for you" shouted Parandai. Parandai turned to the demon and dropped bomb into the drain ith a smile.
Rinza laughed again, and sped off at top speed, ignoring her resisting body. She was ten yards away when the bomb went off. The ceramic pipe quivered slightly, and the water splashed restlessly around, sending small waves of muddy water everywhere. "Didn't catch me murderer!" Rinza called in a sing-song voice, "Afraid to get your feet wet or something?" Shaking her head roughly, like a dog, Rinza managed to get the majority of the acrid water out of her hair, turning back to face the drain opening. Suddenly, she was struck by the vague traces of an idea: she sniffed the air, doing her best to ignore the smell of leaking sewage. Somewhere there was a faint whiff of human, a fire, roasting meat, rotten milk. Nodding, she took off at a human speed in that direction, glancing repeatedly behind her to make sure Parandai wasn't following, hardly noticing the fact that her splashing was loud and easy to follow.
"Why run even more when I have this!" parandai laughed at her. Parandai took the sword out of it's sheath and swung it in Rinza's direction 5 times. 15 bombs flew out in the direction. Parandai looked at jack and smiled. "Heres my special treat!" shouted parandai. This time it was seven swings making 21 bombs fly out.
